Professional Experience Program (PEP)
The Helen Keller National Center (HKNC) wishes to invite
undergraduate and graduate students to participate in an Internship Experience at our national vocational
and rehabilitation
facility
in

To fully benefit, we suggest a full-time commitment.
However, we are
flexible and will
try to
meet your individual needs and academic requirements. On campus housing is
available at no cost. In exchange, six (6) weekly hours of volunteer service
in our residential
program is required.

BACK OF BROCHURE
The Helen Keller National Center (HKNC) offers
individualized evaluation, rehabilitation and vocational training
to persons who
are deaf-blind, assisting each person in
achieving their own definition of success.
HKNC instructors work in
partnership with each student
to
design a program to meet his/her needs, desires,
preferences and abilities. Students
participate in learning opportunities with the goal to attain
successful and satisfying employment and a full, enriched and independent life
in their
local community.
