Each consumer has the opportunity to meet with an audiologist to determine if his/her hearing can be used to enhance the ability to obtain environmental information or to hear spoken language.

In addition to standard audiological evaluations, consumers have the opportunity to try the most advanced hearing aids and assistive listening devices in functional areas such as on-the-job or in the community.

The decision to pursue the use of audiological services is always made by the consumer.
