With few exceptions, consumers are sponsored by their respective state vocational rehabilitation agencies or blind and visual impaired services. An admissions committee reviews the application and determines eligibility for training. If the consumer is accepted for training, an entry date is set. In the event the application is not accepted, the referring source will be advised of the reasons and other resources may be suggested.
