AWESOME volunteers

HKNC Volunteer Services provides a corps of trained individuals who assist students and staff in the training and residence buildings, seven days a week, daytime and evenings. Volunteers range in age from 18 years to senior citizens. Upon completion of six hours of comprehensive training, volunteers may participate in a variety of activities with HKNC students including one-to-one socializing, recreational outings shopping and community events. Other volunteer opportunities include office assistance, fund-raising projects with The Friends of Helen Keller National Center, and special projects.
