HKNC is pleased to announce the return of ASL classes at our NY headquarters

WHAT: AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE - I (BEGINNERS)

Level I is designed for students with no previous knowledge of ASL. Class work will focus on learning to understand simple questions, commands and conversation. Information about the deaf community and its culture will also be included.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE - II

This class will review skills learned in Level I and continue to build on basic conversational skills.

WHEN: October 10 to November 14, 2007

“Learning American Sign Language,” Book - $60.00

Book and video - $110.00 (optional)

Materials can be purchased at the first class

DIRECTIONS TO HKNC: LIE Exit 36, Searingtown Road North. Follow Searingtown Road for 7 miles to the Village of Sands Point. (Searingtown Road becomes Port Washington Blvd. After passing through the town of Port Washington, it becomes Middle Neck Road.) HKNC entrance is on the right directly after the entrance to the Sands Point Park and Preserve.

No refunds after first class. Class size is limited (on a first-come basis). Pre-registration is required.
